It was still early in the morning. It was Sunday. We got up and after doing the morning prayer then we prepared everything needed for our journey that day. We planned to ride along the south beach , mostly are coastal beaches.
First , I checked my motorbike for the last time to make sure that it's ok. It had to be fit since I had got an unpleasant experience in my first journey : the tyre was broken and I had to buy a new one. This happened, just about two kilometers, not so far from the sea side. We walked for about an hour before at last, we found a mechanic. Fortunately, he is a skillful mechanic.

At about five thirty, we , my wife and I, left our small home town, Imogiri. We decided to visit Bekah, a rocky beach. It is located in the south west of Panggang.
welcome to nawungan
The Imogiri -Panggang road was not so busy then, but riders must be
careful since there are many sharp turn up
and down the hill. It took half an hour to reach Panggang. Then we
turned right at the bus station. The
road was not so wide. It lead to Parangtritis beach. The weather was still cold
and we were trembling. We turned left at the next crossroad. We saw a sign to
Bekah .
the sign to Bekah
Now the road was stony up and down with extreme turns. We came to the
end of the village . First riders might be lost because there were not enough
road signs along the way to Bekah.
Bekah : one kilometer down road
We saw hilly high land surrounded by trees along the road. Farmers went to the forest on foot. They are usually accompanied by dogs.
The wind blew sofly. It seemed that the beach was just there, infront of us. Again, dogs running down the hill surprised us. There came in groups. But people helped us to make them quiet.
"KTNA" : a nice place to see the unborder ocean
just sit here and enjoy ...
There were two farmers digging and cutting the plants. We had a little talk with them. Living here was a hard struggle. We really enjoyed our trip to Bekah. Do you have any plan to go there ?
